Other Articles of this Treaty concern collaboration in the field of protection and conservation of renewable and non-renewable resources and prevention of pollution, and contain principles of mutual respect: The two States accept and respect the methods by which each State exercises jurisdiction, supervision, control, or rights in the marine and submarine areas adjacent to its coast; the parties shall offer each other the greatest possible facilities for the purpose of developing activities to exploit and use marine living resources.
