Abstract

This Treaty establishes a boundary between the two countries in the Straits of Malacca between the islands known as the “Butang group” Pulau Langkawi and in the Gulf of Thailand The boundaries shall be formed by straight lines between specified points. Co-ordinates shall be derived from the British Admiralty Chart. The actual location shall be determined by a method to be agreed upon by the Parties. For this purposes competent authorities of each country are appointed. Any dispute shall be settled by peaceful negotiation or consultation.
