Abstract

This Agreement determines co-ordinates of the points that, connected by arcs of great circles form the maritime boundary between Sri Lanka and India in the Gulf of Mannar beyond point 3M as defined in the maritime Boundary agreement between the two countries of March 1976 up to the Trijunction point as defined in the trilateral Agreement between Sri Lanka, India and Maldives of July 1976. Parts of the bilateral Agreement cited above shall apply mutatis mutandis to the present Agreement.
