Abstract

Pursuant to articles 5 and 6 of the Fisheries Partnership Agreement between the European Community and the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, the Contracting Parties hereby establish the fishing opportunities granted for a period of five years as from 1 August 2008. Vessels flying the flag of a Member State of the European Community may fish in Mauritanian fishing zones only if they are in possession of a fishing licence issued in accordance with the provisions laid down in this Protocol.
