Abstract

This Protocol sets forth, for a period of five years from 3 December 2005, the fishing opportunities granted under article 5 of the Agreement between the European Community and the Gabonese Republic on fishing off the coast of Gabon. Such fishing opportunities refer to highly migratory species. The Contracting Parties undertake to promote responsible fishing in Gabonese waters on the basis of the principles of non discrimination between the different fleets fishing in those waters.
