Abstract

The Contracting Parties have agreed as follows: (a) to prohibit hunting of migrant birds and collection of eggs thereof, trade and exchange of migrant birds and their eggs with the exception of scientific research, educational and other specific purposes (art. 2); (b) the Parties shall inform each other of the list of species subject to special protection and shall control import and export thereof (art. 3); (c) each Party shall set up protected areas and reserves for migrant birds (art. 5).
