Abstract

The intention of this Agreement is to promote veterinary cooperation between Croatia and Macedonia, to improve external trade of live animals and products of animal origin and to prevent and combat epidemics. The Contracting Parties have agreed to promote and support the following activities: issue of veterinary certificates for live animals and products of animal origin for import and export into the states of the Contracting Parties; prevention, treatment and combating diseases which are the subject matter of common priority and interest; Parties shall warn each other about diseases named in the A list of the Codex of the OIE, monthly exchange of information through statistical bulletins on ill animals; exchange of veterinary experts and cooperation in the field of veterinary research; cooperation between veterinary laboratories in the field of animal disease diagnoses, exchange of technical bibliography from the veterinary science field, including information on the organization of veterinary services. The competent authority for the implementation of this Agreement in the Republic of Croatia is the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
