Abstract

The objective of this Agreement is to facilitate trade of live animals and animal products between Croatia and Turkey and to prevent and combat the diseases that are of common priority and interest. The Contracting Parties have agreed to promote and support the following activities: issue of veterinary certificates for live animals and products of animal origin; cooperate in the field of veterinary research; cooperation with veterinary laboratories in the field of animal disease diagnoses; exchange of technical bibliography from the veterinary science field, including information on the organization of veterinary services. Contracting Parties shall inform each other, within 24 hours, of the appearance of diseases named in lists A and B of the Codex of the OIE. Implementation of this Agreement in the Republic of Croatia lies with the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
