Agreement governing whaling in the waters of the South Pacific. Provides for register of whaling vessels to be kept on national basis. Forbids pelagic whaling in areas under the jurisdiction of other States parties without permit. Contains controls on taking. Contains obligations as to record-keeping.Data to national authorities and Standing Committee of Convention monthly. Also national authorities to submit annual reports to Standing Committee.
