Abstract

The Parties hereby express desire to continue cooperation on reciprocal fisheries and on the flexible exploitation of the living marine resources in the area covered by the present Agreement and have reached agreement on the delimitation of parts of the continental shelf between Jan Mayen and Greenland. A final agreement on the further course of delimitation of the marine area in question as from point No. 4 here specified shall be subject to consultation with Iceland. Article 2 concerns negotiations regarding the exploitation of natural resources on the continental shelf of one of the Parties, which extends onto the continantel shelf. The boundary between the fishery zone around Jan Mayen and the fishery zone around Greenland coincides with the delimitation line specified in article 1. (4 articles)
