Abstract

The objective of this Agreement is to establish a framework for the cooperation between the Parties in the field of the protection and improvement of the environment of the Mexico City and the Federal District and corresponding municipalities of the State of Mexico (arts. 1 and 2). Forms of cooperation may include the transfer of technology, scientific and technical advice and assistance, educational exchange, monitoring of the environment, environmental impact assessment, exchange of personnel. etc. (art. 4). Each Party shall design a national coordinator to coordinate and monitor the implementation of this Agreement (art. 5). Each Party shall bear the costs of its participation (art. 7). All technical information obtained shall be available to both Parties and shall only made available to third Parties by mutual agreement of the national coordinators (art. 9). (14 articles)
