Abstract

This Agreement consists of 3 Chapters, 25 articles and 4 Annexes dealing with specific fisheries issues. Fishery management (Chapter I); Arbitration (Chapter II); Miscellaneous (Chapter III).An Agreement to provide for the conservation and management of East Coast fishery resources and for the terms and conditions under which all fishing by nationals and vessels of both Parties shall be conducted. A joint management commission, the East Coast Fisheries Commission, is established.
