Abstract

The purpose of this Agreement is to establish principles and basic rules governing cooperation between the two countries in the field of fisheries. The said principles and rules shall be established by means of appropriate Protocols of Application, which shall be drawn up in the Commission provided for in article 6.The Contracting Parties shall consult each other both bilaterally and within the framework of international organizations in order to strengthen international cooperation as far as possible, with a view to ensuring the protection of their fishing interests.
