Abstract

The Contracting Parties hereby agree, on the basis of the principles of non-discrimination and reciprocity, to facilitate and promote trade in wine originating in the European Community and in Australia on the conditions provided for in this Agreement. The Agreement lays down rules governing oenological practices and processes and compositional requirements for wine for importation. Further provisions regar protection of wine names and geographical indications, as well presentation and description.
