Abstract

This Agreement determines co-ordinates of the points that, connected by arcs of great circles form the maritime boundary between Sri Lanka and India in the Gulf of Mannar and the Bay of Bengal. The co-ordinates of the point are indicated on the Chart attached to the Agreement. The actual location at sea and on the sea bed of the points shall be determined by a method to be mutually agreed upon by surveyors authorized for the purpose by the Governments respectively. Rights regarding respective maritime zones are stated.
