Abstract

The intention of this Agreement is to regulate the framework of cooperation and to promote mutual aid in case of disasters or other catastrophe. The prevention is based on the regular exchange of scientific and technical results and information, and on the mutual warning of any danger which could threaten the other Party. The Parties to this Agreement cooperate in the training of rescue teams. The Agreement also regulates the transport of rescue teams, the export and import of aid and rescue equipment, the cost of the operation. A Permanent Bilateral Commission is established by this Agreement for its implementation.
