Abstract

The Analyses aim to provide as objective an assessment as possible of each proposal to amend the CITES Appendices, against the criteria elaborated in Resolution Conf. 9.24 (Rev. CoP17) and other Resolutions and Decisions that have been adopted by the Parties to CITES. The table includes links to download the Analyses in English (French and Spanish translations to follow) for each of the 57 proposals submitted for consideration at CoP18, as well as background information for proposals relating to the African elephant. The table is searchable by proposal number, proponent(s) and taxon.
