Abstract

By way of implementation of the provisions laid down under Directive 88/661/EEC, the present Regulations establish particular zootechnical standards applicable to breeding animals of the porcine species. The Regulations are divided into the following Chapters: (I) Title and scope; (II) Rules governing trade with Member States in pure-bred breeding pigs; (III) Rules governing trade with Member States in hybrid breeding pigs. Regulation 12 concerns penalties.
