Abstract

These Regulations prescribe measures for the control of rabies occurring in dogs and cats. They grant power to the Director of Public Health and Social Services to control importation of cats and dogs and straying of dogs. Other measures include quarantine, vaccination, examination of animals and impoundment. Dogs and cats imported from areas declared to rabies-free areas by the Director are exempted from quarantine requirements.
