The functions of the Commission shall include the carrying out of investigation under this Act and the annual convening of a Gender Forum. The Commission may investigate any systemic barrier prejudicial to gender equality, gender equity or gender mainstreaming in a specific named sphere of activity or named sector of the society or economy.
