Abstract

These Regulations, made by the Minister of Tourism, Environment and Natural Resources under sections 113 and 144 of the Zambia Wildlife Act, place restrictions on the international trade in specimen of endangered animal and plant species and give effect in Zambia to the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora. They also, among other things, provide with respect to matters of administration and provide for control of production of captive-bred animals and artificially propagated plants for commercial trade of species listed in the First Schedule to these Regulations.
