Abstract

This Act establishes the Zambia Law Development Commission as a body corporate and defines functions and powers of the Commission. The commission shall be mainly active in law development and shall make recommendations on new and more effective methods of administration of the law and the dispensation of justice that should be adopted and legislated. It shall, among other things, revise and reform the law in Zambia and codify unwritten laws in Zambia. It shall make recommendations on socio-political values of the Zambian people that should be incorporated into legislation.
