Abstract

The present Act establishes the Yukon Environmental and Socio-economic Assessment Board responsible for assessing the environmental and socio-economic effects of certain activities in Yukon. The text consists of 126 sections divided into 3 Parts as follows: Yukon Environmental and Socio-economic Assessment Board and Designated Offices (1); Assessment process and decision documents (2); Transitional provisions, consequential and coordinating amendments and commencement (3). One Schedule is enclosed.
