In this case, the resident magistrate shall be deemed to be the judge of the High Court, and court presided over by him while exercising such jurisdiction shall be deemed to be the High Court. This Act also amends section 47 which concerns appeals on decisions of the High Court in the exercise of its original jurisdiction or the exercise of its revisional or appellate jurisdiction.
