Abstract

Commonwealth and Tasmanian authorities requested that the nomination of an area described as the Western Tasmania Wilderness National Parks for inclusion in the World Heritage List referred to in Article 11 of the Convention for the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage be submitted by Australia to the World Heritage Committee. Now the governor-general of the Commonwealth of Australia makes these Regulations under section 69 of the National Parks and Wildlife Conservation Act 197
