The present Regulation enters into force on 1 February 2007.
Abstract

The present Regulation is made under the Workplace Safety and Health Act. In particular, the Regulation lays down details concerning security of workers at their workplaces and protection of other persons against negative effects of workplaces. The text - consisting of 44 sections – deals, inter alia, with the following aspects: workplace safety and health committees and representatives, general workplace requirements, personal protective equipment, storage of materials, equipment, machines and tools, harassment, noise control, radiation, fire and explosive hazards, work in a compressed air environment, chemical and biological substances.
