The present Regulations enter into force on 3 September 2010.
Abstract

The present Regulations are made under the Farm Financial Stability Act. In particular, section 3 establishes that the Wildlife Damage Compensation and Livestock Predation Prevention Programme is established pursuant to subsection 22(1) of the Act. Section 7 specifies that a producer is eligible for compensation in accordance with these regulations for losses to commercial agricultural products resulting from damage caused by wildlife. The text consists of 25 sections divided into 6 Parts as follows: General (I); Wildlife Damage Compensation and Livestock Predation Prevention Programme (II); Compensation (III); General (IV); Financial matters (V); Repeal and coming into force (VI).
