Abstract

These Regulations implement the Wilderness Protection Act 1992 by providing specifications on the management of wilderness areas and zones. In particular, the regulations cover the use of vehicles, aircrafts and boats, camping, forest fires, scientific research and the respect of Aboriginal traditions.
