Abstract

This Regulation declares the whale shark (Rhincodon typus) to be protected throughout Seychelles at all times and prohibits the taking or killing of a whale shark. Nothing in the preceding regulations shall be construed as preventing otherwise legitimate fishing activities or authorized scientific research.
