The forms for the procedures in the Regulations are set out in the First Schedule of the Regulations. These licences entitle the holder to hunt the animals named within, and restrict the holder to acting only to the extent of the particulars of the licence. The prohibited acts in the Regulations include the use of poisons for killing protected animals, the use of fire to kill protected animals, the use of traps, game pits or net for the capturing or killing of protected animals and the hunting of protected animals with dogs. A contravention of these prohibitions invites a fine.
