Abstract

This Chapter of the Delaware Code concerns wharf lines and bulkheads. It specifically provides for limitation on wharves in City of New Castle; wharf lines and limitations in Laurel River; enforcement of Laurel River restrictions; drainage into Laurel River; bulkhead and pier lines in Delaware River opposite Wilmington and Edge Moor; filing federal maps and reports; filling in beyond established bulkhead line and structures outside bulkhead line; littoral proprietors' rights and deposit of dredgings by United States; title of littoral proprietors to lands filled in; determination of waterfront of respective proprietors; proprietors' right to own and hold structures on river front and further rights.
