Section 9 is amended by adding a subsection on the remuneration of gunners or crew of factory ships in the case of illegal taking or killing of whales. Bonuses or other remuneration for the taking or killing of a whale, the taking or killing of which is prohibited, shall not be paid by the owner or charterer of a ship to the crew but to the Government instead.
