This Act enters into force on 19 April 1984.
Abstract

This Act regulates the loading and dumping of waste at sea, and the incineration of waste in Western Australian waters. The Act also fulfils Western Australia's international obligations under the Convention on the Prevention of Marine Pollution by Dumping of Wastes and other Matter.
