Abstract

These Rules make provision with respect to the licensing of use of appliances for the abstraction of groundwater. The licence shall be issued by the Project Director of the West Pakistan Land and Water Development Board. The applicant shall guarantee to return the licence or pay compensation if within a period of six months of erection of works use of groundwater is seriously affected by abstraction activities. Final provisions prescribe penalties for use of appliances without a licence. (Completed by a Schedule containing forms)
