Abstract The provisions of sections 2 and 10(3) of Schedule 4 to the Act, modified and adapted to read as set out in Schedule 2 to this Order, shall apply to the undertaking in so far as affected by the provisions of this Order. Subject to the provisions of this Order, the Authority may, for the purposes of the undertaking, by means of an intake structure and pipe take water from the river known as Allt Easan Biorach on the Island of Arran. During the construction of the works the Authority may take from the said Allt Easan Biorach such water as they may require for such construction. Sections 2 and 10 of the Act concern construction of waterworks and liability of the West of Scotland Water Authority for non construction or maintenance of gauges or non-authorized intake of water.
