It consists of 16 articles as follows: 1. Short title. 2. Interpretation. 3. Authorization for the construction of wells or drilling of boreholes for the abstraction of ground water. 4. Power of the Council of Ministers in relation to certain areas. 5. Enlargement of wells. 6. Grant of licence to well-drillers. 7. Protection of wells in certain cases. 8. Restitution of rights on wells to a person. 9. Wells constructed by local authorities. 10. Protection of water supply to the public. 11. License of drilling or well construction cannot be revoked. 12. Ascertain that the wells are not a source of public emergency. 13. Offences and penalties. 15. Maintenance of wells. 16.
