Weeds (Jersey) Law 1961.

This Law grants powers to the Minister for Planning and Environment to prevent the spreading of injurious weeds specified in the Schedule to this Law and to such other weeds as may be prescribed by Order made by the Minister. Where the occupier of any land fails to take the action as may be necessary to prevent the injurious weeds from spreading and required by Notice of the Minister within the time specified therein, the Minister may take that action.
