Abstract

The present Act lays down provisions relating to the control of weed in the Province of Alberta. Section 7 establishes that a local authority shall appoint inspectors to enforce and monitor compliance with this Act within the municipality. The text consists of 34 sections divided into 6 Parts as follows: Weed control (1); Inspectors (2); Inspector’s powers and notices (3); Appeal of inspector’s notice or local authority’s notice (4); Recovery of inspector’s expenses (5); Miscellaneous matters (6).
