Abstract

This Chapter of the Oregon Revised Statutes (ORS) concerns weather modification. The purpose of the document is to promote the public health, safety and welfare by providing for the licensing, regulation and control of interference by artificial means with the natural precipitation of rain, snow, hail, moisture or water in any form contained in the atmosphere. Further, the Chapter provides for licensing for weather modification; weather modification districts; and penalties for the violation of the rules of the Chapter.
