Section 7 establishes that the operation of a water supply system or any part of the water supply system must be approved by the Chief Public Health Officer before operation. Furthermore, the Regulations define the water quality, bacteriological and chemical characteristics for water sources, provide for water treatment, chlorination and fluoridation. The text consists of 24 sections.
