Abstract The Act provides for supply of the civil and the armed forces with drinking water, supply extinguishing water, treating with the wastewater by considering the public health, protecting against flood by accumulation and drainage of water in dams. The Act further stimulates the obligations of the owners of the water supply for maintenance of the sewage and drainage systems; and construction and conservation of water tanks, composite and bypass lines for their operation. Article 3 provides for ratification of the regulations by the government for measuring the needed drinking water, principles for the operating water, and technical requirements and plants. Second Chapter covers the water related matter for the defence purposes including operation of water supply, sewage, storage and drainage systems, and use of water. The Act contains 37 Articles divided into 5 Chapters as follow: Precautionary measures (1); regulation for the defence case (2); Common rules (3); Penalty and fine (4); and Final provision (5).
