Abstract

The Regulations provide certain rules for the digging of wells and in particular the taking of samples of the soil and returns. A well digger's licence shall be in Form 1 set out in the Schedule to these Regulations. A well digger shall take samples of any deposit of fossil red soil or any rock or material which, in his or her opinion, is of an unusual character and found in the course of constructing a well.
