Abstract: This Act grants the Secretary of the Army authority to carry out a number of designated projects for flood control, improvement of the environment and restoration of environmental quality of waters; dam safety; shore protection; watershed management, restoration, and development; fishing access; fish and wildlife improvement and habitat restoration. The projects for water resources development and conservation and other purposes are authorized to be carried out by the Secretary substantially in accordance with the plans, and subject to the conditions, described in the respective reports designated in this Act.
