Abstract

This Act authorizes the Commissioner and the Minister, on behalf of the Government of the Northwest Territories, to enter into agreements with the Government of Canada or other provincial governments respecting water resources management (sect. 2). Agreements may concern, among others, the conservation, development and use of water resources; the research, collection and publication of data; the drawing-up and implementation of plans; the regulation and control of quality and quantity of water resources.
