Abstract

This Act provides for the control and management of water resources in Newfoundland and Labrador. The Act consists of 103 sections and is divided into ten Parts and it contains provisions on water rights (Part I), licences and royalties, water protection and flood protection (Part II), well drilling (Part III), and on inspection and enforcement of the provisions of the Act.
