Abstract

The present Ordinance implements article 14 of the Baden-Württemberg Water Law of 1 January 1999 (GBl. p. 1). The Ordinance lays down provisions relating to quality targets for certain hazardous substances and programmes to reduce the pollution of surface waters. Article 3 establishes that the competent water authorities shall issue adequate programmes. The text consists of 5 articles as follows: Purpose, sphere of application (1); Establishment of quality targets (2); Programmes reducing pollution (3); Granting of permits for discharge of substances listed in the Annex (4); Entry into force (5). One Annex is enclosed.
