The principal Law and the present Law shall be read as one and will be referred to as the Water Pollution Control Laws of 2002 and 2008. The present law, for a better alignment with Council Directive 96/61/EC concerning integrated pollution prevention and control, carries forward amendments to articles 9, 10, 12 and adds up new articles (18A, 18B, 18C and 20A) of the principal law. The amendments regard the issuance of licenses for waste disposal.
