The principal Law and the present Law shall be read as one and will be referred to as the Water Pollution Control Laws of 2002 and 2005. The present law, for a better alignment with Directive (EC) No. 2003/35 of the European Parliament and of the Council, carries forward amendments to articles 7 and adds six new articles right after it (7A to 7F). The amendments to the principal law provide for public participation in respect of the drawing up of certain plans and programmes relating to the environment.
