Abstract

This Plan, consisting of eight Parts and done under the Water Act 2000, defines the management plan for the Moonie River. The Plan is divided into the following Parts: Preliminary; Plan area and water to which plan applies; Outcomes for sustainable management of water; Performance indicators and objectives; Strategies for achieving outcomes; Monitoring and reporting requirements and Implementing and amending this plan. The Plan is completed by five Schedules: Plan areas and nodes; Node descriptions; Pump size and maximum rates; Allocation of unallocated water and Dictionary. The Plan is completed by five Schedules specifying Plan area and nodes, Moonie groundwater management area, Pump sizes and maximum rates, Allocation of unallocated water, Dictionary.
