This Plan enters into force on 15 December 2006.
Abstract

This Plan, consisting of seven Parts, divided into 61 sections and done under the Water Act 2000, defines the management plan for the Gold Coast rivers. The Plan is divided into the following Parts: Preliminary; Plan area and water to which plan applies; Outcomes for sustainable management of water; Performance indicators and objectives; Strategies for achieving outcomes; Monitoring and reporting requirements and Implementing and amending this plan. The Plan is completed by eleven schedules: Plan areas; Subcatchment areas; Subcatchment areas names; Nodes; Environmental flow objectives; Water allocation security objectives; General reserve; Unsupplemented water to be taken; Rates and pump sizes; Priority areas; Dictionary.
